The boys now all have their own bedroom, plus their own tv room, and they’re totally over the moon. We’ve always lived in these little terraced houses or tiny cottages, so to go from that to this is amazing. The kids keep saying ‘we’ve got the soft stuff’ – which means carpet! We’ve never had a carpet before!
There is a real community feel at Birnam Mews. We’ve met all the neighbours already and they’re so friendly – we got given four bottles of prosecco from neighbours on the day we moved in! The really nice thing is that there are four people in the houses next to us at Birnam who all used to live on our old road, so we already know them well!

Birnam Mews is a fantastic place, particularly for young children.
We have got a park out the front in our cul-de-sac, one next door and there’s a fantastic school just round the corner, a 2 minute walk away so it’s such a good place to have a young family.
We were renting quite a small 2 bedroom house with a small garden so with Steven becoming more active, we wanted somewhere with a nice size garden.
So, at the moment we own a 40% share in the property. I think we both agreed when we saw the house that it was one that could be our forever home so we would love to purchase it fully.
