Housing Association and developer L&Q is launching a new initiative to support essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic, offering a £5,000 reduction on all homes at their Stratford-upon-Avon development, Birnam Mews.
The Keyworker Campaign will be on offer to all workers in essential sectors (as defined by the UK government), with the reduction applying to homes available through both Shared Ownership and outright sale at Birnam Mews – a collection of 60 new homes just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon city centre, ranging from 1 bedroom apartments to 4 bedroom homes.
Christine Osborne, Sales and Customer Services Director (Counties) at L&Q, comments “At L&Q, we believe that everyone should have a quality home that they can afford. There has never been a more crucial time to support people onto the property ladder – making sure that keyworkers and their families have the security and stability of home ownership. Our Keyworker Campaign is our way of expressing gratitude for the efforts of frontline workers, who are continually prioritising the wellbeing of others above themselves as they work to keep the country running.”
Additionally, L&Q have introduced a new Early Bird reservation process, giving all purchasers the opportunity to reserve their future home for £99, with added flexibility to claim a full refund if circumstances change.
Helping buyers view homes at Birnam Mews without leaving the house, L&Q have recently launched a collection of virtual property tours. Prospective homeowners can immerse themselves in a tour at Birnam Mews, taking an in-depth look at each room before getting in touch with the Birnam Mews sales team to make a reservation.
The premium fixtures, fittings and appliances at all homes at Birnam Mews come at no additional cost to the buyer, as part of L&Q’s New-Build Homes: Quality Standard promise. The high quality homes feature Nobilia kitchens, complete with integrated appliances, while bathrooms feature sleek sanitaryware and chrome fixtures. Underfoot, all homes are fitted with premium Amtico flooring, plush carpet and gloss porcelain tiling. The bedroom is fitted with mirrored sliding wardrobes and the majority will have an en-suite, and all homes come with private outdoor space.
Set in picturesque Tiddington village, Birnam Mews offers the quintessential village living, while the town of Stratford-upon-Avon is a scenic 35 minute walk away with a variety of restaurants, cafes, museums and theatres. The development is conveniently placed for commuters; Stratford-upon-Avon railway station offers links to Birmingham New Street, which is reachable in under 50 minutes, as well as direct links to London Marylebone and Warwick. Meanwhile, Birmingham International Airport is a 40 minute drive from Birnam Mews.
