Sisters Lilian and Raquel had been renting in West London for eight and a half years since moving from their home in Brazil. Buying a home together was their dream but had always been financially unattainable – until the sisters discovered Shared Ownership.

The sisters explain: “We loved our old rental, but the rent kept increasing, and eventually it became too much. We’ve always lived together and had dreamed of owning our own home, but for a long time it simply felt out of reach.”

After putting their home ownership ambitions on the backburner, their financial position changed and they started seriously considering the possibility of buying. They continue: “Lilian received a salary increase after starting her new job and then our parents in Brazil were able to gift us some money by selling a piece of land. It felt like a turning point, and like homeownership could finally become a reality.”

https://lqhomes.com/kewbridgerise/wp-content/uploads/sites/250/2026/08/20260711-7R406843-1024x683.jpg
1536x1536":"https://lqhomes.com/kewbridgerise/wp-content/uploads/sites/250/2026/08/20260711-7R406843-1536x1024.jpg","1536x1536-width":1536,"1536x1536-height":1024,"2048x2048":"https://lqhomes.com/kewbridgerise/wp-content/uploads/sites/250/2026/08/20260711-7R406843.jpg","2048x2048-width":2048,"2048x2048-height":1365
https://lqhomes.com/kewbridgerise/wp-content/uploads/sites/250/2026/08/20260711-7R406843-1980x1320.jpg
https://lqhomes.com/kewbridgerise/wp-content/uploads/sites/250/2026/08/20260711-7R406843-1200x800.jpg
