An experimental, forward-thinking artist collective aiming to support local talent, Firepit is a Community Interest Company<\/a> in Greenwich Peninsula.<\/a> With a quarterly programme of exhibitions and a rolling programme of events, shows and workshops, the CIC is at the heart of the arts community. The pieces selected for the show home were Equanimity III<\/em> by Anastasya Martynova<\/a> and two pieces from the Regular Stitch<\/em> series by Shumaiya Khan<\/a>. Both artists have connections to Greenwich. Anastasya\u2019s studio is located in the Design District, in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula. Her piece is part of the Fractured Series<\/em>, which draws inspiration from the Japanese art of kintsugi, meaning to join with gold.
