A brand-new community space for the village of Whalley opened last week, with the Whalley Old Grammar School Community Centre officially launching its mezzanine floor thanks to help from L&Q, which provided grant funding to a number of local initiatives in 2023. The charity received \u00a335,000 last spring, which allowed it to convert what was previously unused roof space into a second room for local residents and groups to hire and use.
