\u201cThere\u2019s so much at the development that I could speak so highly about, from the spacious homes to the high-quality interiors, but I think my favourite thing has to be the views of the nearby countryside. Whalley Nab can be seen from the sales office and from most of the homes here \u2013 it\u2019s a gorgeous landscape of hills and green space, and truly isn\u2019t like anything else nearby.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe development is also a short walk into the centre of Whalley, which is quite hard to come by. There are a few schemes nearby where it\u2019s a 30-minute walk or so into the village, but from Whalley Manor you can be there in 5 minutes which means you can leave the car at home when you want to pop to the shops or the independent wine bar. \u201cI know I\u2019ve already touched upon this, but the countryside feel of the village is just second to none. I think that a sense of community goes hand in hand with the countryside nature of the area, and it\u2019s a lovely environment on the doorstep of the development. It feels like a traditional village, and there are plenty of local businesses to support and things to do.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve really enjoyed getting involved with the local community, and have felt extremely welcomed. One way in particular that we\u2019ve been able to support Whalley as a village is through our Community Investment Fund which provides community-based organisations with an opportunity to access grant funding for activities that will further support their local community. \u201cThere are so many, but if I had to pick a few I\u2019d have to say Whalley Wine Bar, Deux Amis and Amico Mio. The wine bar is a local favourite for everyone \u2013 it\u2019s a lovely spot to head to for a drink and meet with friends, and they are really professional and knowledgeable but welcoming in there. Deux Amis is a caf\u00e9 nearby that we love for a nice lunch, and Amico Mio is an Italian tapas that everyone raves about.
