In a record year for entries, L&Q have been shortlisted for three awards at this year’s Inside Housing Development Awards.

The awards are some of the most prestigious and competitive in the housebuilding industry, celebrating the very best residential developments across the UK.

Parklands at Barking Riverside – Best Development

A joint venture between L&Q and the Mayor of London, Barking Riverside is transforming a former industrial site along the River Thames into a new London district. Set alongside 2km of south facing Thames river frontage, the area is growing to become a vibrant neighbourhood of over 10,000 homes. Parklands was the first phase of 227 L&Q homes to launch, offering apartments through to family houses through Shared Ownership and London Help to Buy. Homes in the second phase, Fielders Quarter, are now available.

L&Q at Beaulieu – Best Shared Ownership Development

One of the most important new developments in Essex, Beaulieu is a sustainable urban expansion for the growing city of Chelmsford and a joint venture with Countryside. L&Q at Beaulieu includes one, two and three bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom houses, all available for Shared Ownership. The latest phase, The Arbour, will be launching soon – register your interest to receive the latest updates and availability.

49 Haling Park Road – Best Partnership

As a charitable housing association, the L&Q Foundation and Greater London Authority work closely with smaller housing associations through their Build London Partnership scheme on small sites across the capital. 49 Haling Park Road in Croydon is one such site – and it’s been shortlisted for Best Partnership for the innovative collaboration between Build London Partnership and the delivery partners. With eight homes available, the scheme is 100% affordable and provides much needed housing for the local area.
