Start by emailing us at staircasingpack@lqgroup.org.uk to request a Staircasing Pack, which has all the details you need to help you through the process, including further information on how Staircasing works, contact points, costs and, a list of L&Q approved consultants.
Financial Advisors
To ascertain whether Staircasing is a viable option for you, now or in the future, including establishing the amount of equity you already own, we can refer you to one of our panel of independent financial advisors all with Staircasing experience.
Surveyors
To establish the current market value of your home, we have included our recommended panel of expert independent RICS/FRICS qualifified surveyors in the Staircasing Pack.
Solicitors
To engage a solicitor to act on your behalf, we have included our recommended panel of independent solicitors in the Staircasing Pack. They all have a long track record dealing with Staircasing.
Property Valuation
After we receive your property valuation, solicitors’ details, administration fee, and a home improvement form (if applicable), we will work directly with your solicitor
until completion.
Completion
Staircasing usually takes up to three months, from beginning to completion. L&Q are here to help guide you through
