Whalley Manor is hosting a Wildlife Walk throughout the summer holiday break, perfect for the little explorers of Whalley.

Challenges include finding a snail’s trail, smelling a flower and planting a seed, with nine icons to tick off as they go. For every completed card, a donation will be made to the Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s ‘Step up for Wildlife’ campaign, which aims to protect local habitats and wildlife. Participants will also receive a sweet treat from the Whalley Manor Sales Suite upon submitting their completed cards.

Cards can be filled out at any time — whether in a day, a week, or over the entire summer holidays. We recommend visiting Salthill or Cross Hill Quarry Local Nature Reserves, just 5 miles from Whalley, though the local park or garden are also great options!

Completed Cards to be returned to the Whalley Manor Sales Suite. Additional copies can be downloaded below.
