Read on to discover more!

EasterFest

First up is EasterFest, a fantastic festival event for families, taking place on Monday 10th April at the Parade in Leamington Spa.

With a jam-packed programme of fun planned for the day, there will be a range of activities for children to enjoy, including face painting and colouring competitions. A selection of scrumptious food and drinks will be available for both adults and children, along with arts and crafts stalls to purchase decorative items for your home.

Adding a touch of magic for youngsters at the festival, the Easter Bunny will even be popping by the event to say hello, and children can participate in an ‘egg-citing’ egg hunt!

Meet the lambs at Hilltop Farm

Nestled in the Warwickshire countryside is Hilltop Farm, Leamington Spa.

Over Easter weekend, the farmers are inviting families to come and visit their adorable newborn lambs, with the opportunity for children to hold and feed them!

There is also a café and farm shop on site where you can purchase fresh produce from the farm – our favourite is freshly baked sourdough bread to take home and warm in the oven.

Tickets for this special family-friendly activity can be booked on Hilltop Farm’s website at: Things to do this Easter, Meet the Lambs – Hilltop Farm (hilltopfarmshop.com)

Warwick Castle

Why not head down to the famous Warwick Castle during the Easter break?

From the 1st April, Zog and the Quest for the Golden Star commences! Zog, the leading character from the popular children’s novel of the same name, will be taking your little ones on an interactive activity trail, teaching all budding dragons the skills they need to become a fully-fledged dragon – from flying and roaring to breathing fire!

As well as the exciting trail, Zog will also be available for a meet-and-greet to hand out golden stars to every child that attends. Best get practicing your fearsome roars!

Wanting to stay a little closer to home? DIY arts and crafts are a fantastic activity to do from the comfort of your kitchen this Easter. Why not show your children how to create their own bunny rabbit mask out of paper, cardboard or even papier-mache? Get creative with paint, colouring pens and glitter – and maybe even hold a family competition to crown the best Easter mask design! Chocolate prizes at the ready!

Alternatively, why not have a go at drawing colourful designs on boiled eggs or decorate your egg cups with sparkles and googly eyes – an activity guaranteed to brighten up breakfast time!

Easter Adventure Quest at Kenilworth Castle

If you’re looking for a bit of culture and history during the school holidays, take a journey to Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Gardens, where children can enjoy exploring the grounds and learning about the 16th century – all whilst on an Easter egg hunt! You can join the quest every day of the school holidays this April.

Take a walk around the fields searching for the clues and challenges. If you manage to find all of the hidden Easter eggs, there will be delicious edible prizes up for grabs!
