About Beaulieu
There is a whole new community developing in Chelmsford. Here is what you need to know about this evolving hub of modern living!

A collaborative approach
Beaulieu is a joint venture between L&Q and Countryside who have collaborated to bring a new community to Chelmsford, including residential homes, local amenities, schools, new roads & infrastructure, open public spaces and a new railway station.
Location, Location, Location!
Look out for Beaulieu station arriving
With Government funding confirmed, Essex County Council will begin plans to construct Chelmsford’s new station which will be built on the Beaulieu Park estate in Springfield.
As part of the conditions attached to the funding, the money must be spent by 2024/5. This means that the railway station, currently only in the planning phases, must be completed by that time.
The new station will provide access to the Great Eastern Main Line (GEML) which runs to and from London.

Plentiful open spaces
There are also plentiful open spaces and parks at Beaulieu lends itself perfectly to community activities like football, gardening and arts projects. As a landscape-led development, Beaulieu has been designed to be completely accessible without relying on a car. A network of proposed and existing bridleways, cycleways, jogging routes and footpaths create the opportunity for a leisurely and healthy lifestyle.
