In order to reserve a Shared Ownership home at L&Q at Darwin Green, you will need to have registered and confirmed your eligibility with L&Q and also confirmed your affordability with Censeo, our independent financial advisor.

Please note that our allocation process has changed and we will now be operating on a first-come first-served basis. Following the open day, those that have attended will be invited the following week via email to select their preference of homes, which will be allocated in the order of responses received.

What is Shared Ownership?

Under the Shared Ownership scheme you part-own and part-rent your home, making it possible for first-time buyers and families to get on the property ladder.

The minimum share you can purchase is usually 25% and the maximum is 75%*. You will usually pay a mortgage on the part you own and a subsidised rent on the part you don’t own. As your income rises, you can increase the share you own until you eventually own 100%.

Your income must be less than £90,000 within London and £80,000 outside of London and Shared Ownership is for anyone who doesn’t own a home at completion. If you want to get on the property ladder, but can’t afford to buy outright on the open market, then Shared Ownership could be for you.

How to book

The event will run 30 min sessions from 11am until 4:00pm. Tickets must be booked via Eventbrite. Please book one ticket per party.
