Modern riverside living at Prime Point

Prime Point places you at the heart of North Greenwich and Greenwich Peninsula, one of South East London’s most exciting riverside neighbourhoods. Set close to the Thames, the development offers a well-connected base surrounded by places to eat, shop, relax and explore.

From major performances at The O2 to independent food venues, public art and peaceful riverside walks, North Greenwich brings together culture, entertainment and everyday convenience. Excellent public transport connections also make it easy to reach Canary Wharf, London Bridge and destinations across Central London.

Things to do on Greenwich Peninsula

Greenwich Peninsula has a changing calendar of exhibitions, activities, screenings, food experiences and community events throughout the year. Residents can explore public art, visit creative spaces, enjoy riverside views or discover something new through the area’s programme of seasonal events. For quieter moments, the Thames Path and the Peninsula’s open spaces provide a welcome change of pace. The Tide offers an elevated route through the neighbourhood, while the local art trail brings creative installations into the public realm.

Visit the Greenwich Peninsula What’s On guide to discover current and upcoming events, exhibitions and activities taking place across the neighbourhood.

Food & Drink

Whether you are meeting friends for dinner, looking for an easy weekend brunch or picking up a coffee on the go, Greenwich Peninsula offers a varied food and drink scene.

The local selection ranges from relaxed cafés and riverside dining to pubs, restaurants and global street food. Located within the Design District, Canteen Food Hall & Bar brings several independent kitchens together under one roof, offering a choice of international flavours alongside a bar and regular events. The O2 provides even more options, with restaurants suited to everything from a quick meal to an evening out before a show.

Shopping, Entertainment & Amenities

One of London’s most recognisable entertainment destinations is close to home. The O2 hosts major names from music, comedy and sport, with an arena capacity of up to 20,000 people. Residents can also enjoy the cinema, bowling, restaurants, and the Up at The O2 rooftop experience.

Prime Point is well placed for both day-to-day essentials and more leisurely shopping trips. Local supermarkets, cafés and services provide practical convenience, while Outlet Shopping at The O2 offers a wide selection of well-known brands.

Opening in early 2027, a new riverside venue is expected to host large-scale productions, live performances, family shows and special cultural events.

Art, Culture & History

Greenwich Peninsula combines a fascinating industrial past with a vibrant contemporary identity. During the 19th century, the area became an important centre for rope-making, cable manufacturing and heavy industry, with Enderby’s Wharf playing a notable role in producing undersea communications cables. The arrival of the Millennium Dome, later transformed into The O2, marked another chapter in the Peninsula’s evolution.

Today, the area is home to a growing community of artists, designers and creative businesses. The Design District’s architecturally distinctive buildings bring together people working across fashion, media, technology and education, alongside places to eat, meet and socialise. Public art and cultural spaces throughout the neighbourhood create an engaging contrast between Greenwich Peninsula’s historic riverside setting and its forward-looking character.
