The countdown to Christmas is well underway, and Milton Keynes is packed full of festive things to do, whether it’s a family day out or an evening celebrating the start of a new decade with friends. 1.Winterland MK
Open until Sunday 5th January, Winterland MK are hosting the very best festive fun, food and family entertainment. With snowballs, a Zip Wire, an ice rink, a variety of rides and a magical Santa’s grotto for the children to meet Father Christmas. Inside the cosy L&Q log Grotto, you’ll be invited by the elves to build your own bag of reindeer food, before receiving a gift to take away. 2.Milton Keynes Theatre
One of the region’s leading live entertainment venues, the Milton Keynes Theatre is showcasing family favourite Aladdin throughout December until Sunday 12th January. Starring comedy legend Joe Pasquale as Wishee Washee and West End star Lee Mead as Aladdin, the spectacular show is a must see this Christmas.

3.Gulliver’s Land
Be transported to the Winter Wonderland at Gulliver’s Land, and enjoy the selection of Christmas rides, shows and attractions throughout the park. Don’t miss the chance to become an honorary elf at the Elf School, and be sure to pay a visit to Mrs Christmas’ Kitchen for some delicious treats!

4.Bletchley Park
Christmas at Bletchley Park is home to a range of Christmas activities certain to get you into the festive spirit. The Vintage 1940’s Christmas Grotto is the perfect opportunity for your child’s magical meeting with Father Christmas, followed by an adventure through the festive maze by the Stableyard. Challenge yourself to the Christmas Code Crackers Trail, before treating yourself to a well deserved mince pie and mulled wine (or hot chocolate!), and a spot of Christmas shopping.
5.New Years Eve
Once Christmas has drawn to a close for 2019, it’s time to start thinking about bringing in the new decade. Our top pick for a family celebration is the Fantastic New Year’s Eve Party at Mr Mulligan’s Miniature Golf Course, with unlimited golf, family entertainment and drinks, while the MK11 Live Music Venue’s New Year’s Eve Party will be playing the greatest hits until 4am to see you into 2020, with a complimentary BBQ until 11pm!
6.Woughton Leisure Centre
If one of your new year resolutions is to get fit in 2020, then the January Fitness Launch Festival at Woughton Leisure Centre is the perfect place to start.
