Capstone Farm Country Park is just a 4 minute drive up the road, 282 acres of public park land which includes meadows, ancient woodlands, old orchards and a picturesque freshwater lake. The park has several trails suitable for walking, hiking and cycling whist the lake is a popular spot for fishing. Children of all ages will love the two play areas. Either bring a picnic or the lakeside café provides a scenic spot for refreshments.

There are two primary schools a short distance from Capstone Green both with a Good Ofsted rating. Luton Primary School is a 10 minute walk away, with a three-form entry for children aged 3 to 11 years.

A 3-minute drive, or 20 minute walk, away is Kingfisher Primary School. A single form primary school for children aged 4-11 years with a nursery provisions for children aged 3-4 years. The school is a member of the Griffin Schools Trust.
