This week, The Quarry was delighted to welcome Councillor Teresa O’Neill OBE, Leader of the London Borough of Bexley, for a tour of the site in Erith. She was joined by the Council’s newly appointed Chief Executive, Jackie Belton, who was visiting the new eco-development for the first time. The Quarry transforms trees into musical sculpture for local school children

A new musical sculpture crafted from wood sourced from The Quarry site has been installed at Willow Bank Primary School by The Quarry’s developers L&Q and Anderson Group. The new xylophone sculpture will be used as part of a ‘sensory experiences’ learning programme for the school’s more vulnerable students and will eventually take permanent residence at The Quarry’s new state-of-the-art primary school, Lime Wood Free School, upon the school’s completion.
